Thomas Vadora

He earned a Master’s degree in Computer Science and has cultivated a profound enthusiasm for the dynamic realm of the energy sector. His academic involvement as an ICPC Competitive Programmer sparked an interest in scalable, high-performance software. With a Principal Software Engineer background, he believes in continually refining his skills and contributing to innovation — as a mission and a hobby. Advancing his AI studies at the University of Toronto, he fused his fascination for energy with AI expertise, embarking on a journey to address challenges on the grid. This endeavor gave rise to the birth of Splight.

Fernando Llaver

With two decades of leadership in the energy industry, he set out to transform the electric sector, emphasizing cutting-edge technology and the scalability of clean energy solutions. His comprehensive knowledge spanning project finance, executive roles, and grid operations equips him with a distinct vantage point. This enables him to meticulously optimize Splight’s technology, ensuring it meets the flexible interconnection demands of power generators and optimizes the efficiency of transmission and distribution networks.

Carlos Caldart

With a diverse academic background that includes an MSc in Biomedical Engineering, an MSc in Nuclear Physics, and a Ph.D. in Science and Technology focused on applied mathematics, coupled with research experience in AI and Electronic Devices, he later transitioned into the role of a Data Scientist. Wholeheartedly delving into energy and sustainability, he found his niche at Splight. Here, he embodies the term “jack-of-all-trades,” undertaking tasks ranging from developing AI models and control algorithms to sales and enhancing customer experience while navigating network communication protocols’ intricacies.
